The volunteers have made a success of the shop and tea room, creating a Community Hub where we can hold meetings, enjoy good coffee, light lunches and afternoon teas, or find someone to chat with over a cuppa.<\/p>\n
The volunteers work hard to maintain the Shop and associated services and their commitment is significant.\u00a0There is always room for more volunteer help. There are all sorts of tasks in addition to serving behind the counter such as stocking shelves, delivering newspapers and collecting supplies such as eggs and other goods.<\/p>\n
Stawley Shop and Tearoom will always welcome more volunteers. We appreciate that we all lead busy lives, but just a few hours each week or two, would make a difference. The main point is that the more volunteers we have, the fewer hours we each need to contribute. It’s a great way to make friends and meet new people particularly if you are new to the area<\/p>\n
